固态光电倍增管简介
 固态光电倍增管是相对于传统的真空型光电倍增管(PMT)而言的。固态光电倍增管采用面阵排列,盖格工作模式的APD雪崩二极管制作而成。每一个APD相当于一个微型电池,采用独特的沟槽技术将这些微电池(APD)单元进行光学隔离,所有的微电池(APD)单元的电流输出被并联起来,输出信号集成了所有APD电池的响应信号。
每一个APD电池都以Geiger模式工作,所以每一个单元都可以作为一个数字的光子探测器,并具有很高的内部增益和快速响应特性。这种产品架构设计,非常接近传统光电倍增管的功能特性,同时还具有以下特点:
  • 低压工作,不需要高压电源
  • 对磁场不敏感
  • 固体器件,结构紧促,尺寸小,适合多种环境使用
  • 非常容易与闪烁体、光纤等进行耦合

General purpose SSPM with a 9.0mm2 sensitive area.

This SSPM covers a broad spectral range with a photon detection efficiency exceeding 20% over most of the visible spectrum. It is offered on a compact, non-magnetic PCB package with backside pins allowing for the assembly of compact sensor arrays and matrices. The sensor die is encapsulated in epoxy assuring easy handling and safe direct coupling to light sources.
