The system is designed as a tabletop unit and its main task is to reproduce the CIE 1931 2° CMF´s as precisely as possible. The resulting tristimulus X, Y, Z values form the basis of most of the color models commonly used today.

With the help of the integrated three-sector color sensor and additional procedures the color perception of the human eye is emulated with an accuracy, which is comparable to considerably more extensive spectrometer procedures.

The scope of delivery includes a comfortable intuitive software tool for commissioning, parameterization and output of the color values in different modes.

Optimizations are included in the scope of delivery for the following light sources:

CCFL, LED white, LED colored, red optimized LED´s, RGB Backlight, white LED Backlight, RGB light source, RGB and white

In the software tool all current state's and color values are continuously displayed.

Additionally the function „Color Controller" can be activated by means of the appropriate PC-Tool. Color and intensity values are preset via 3 analog outputs with it, for controlling of a light source. The system autonomously adjusts the preset values and keeps them constant.

Also a WIN 32 LowLevel DLL available.
