稀有元素的氧化物在紫外、可见及近红外光区有特定的锐利的吸收峰，可用于光谱仪、分光光度计等光谱仪器的波长标定，我们提供的氧化钬玻璃滤光片及氧化铷镨混合物滤光片就是可以用于波长标定。这些波长标定的滤光片都追溯NRC标准。
